CCR and ENF Partner to Help Children Battling Cancer in San Diego
Cheetah Charity Runners’ mission is to empower others to positively enhance their lives though running and racing in a fun and supportive atmosphere while raising important funds to help children battling cancer. We proudly support the Emilio Nares Foundation and together our Team will ensure that no child ever misses their cancer treatment due to lack of transportation.
CCR is pleased to introduce our Patient Ambassador Bianca Rollbusch! Diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in April of 2008, Bianca underwent two years of chemotherapy treatments. Through it all, doctors were impressed by her endurance and courage.
With her long days of treatment behind her, Bianca has become an avid runner, joining her school's cross country team and going on early morning runs with her dad. She already has an impressive and growing collection of 5K medals.
We are pleased that Bianca and her dad will be joining us for our fall season and training for her first half marathon. Bianca had a fantastic run at the Rock n Roll San Diego Half Marathon. She completed the second leg of the Half Marathon Relay and the Cheetahs were honored to cross the finish line with her.
Welcome to the Cheetahs Bianca!
